Holly Hunter, an American actor and producer, is known for her acclaimed performances in movies like Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Holly Hunter was awarded numerous prizes, including her first Oscar for her film Piano. Her career began acting as an actress both on Broadway as well as Off Broadway. The actress has always had an interest in acting ever since she started high school. The first time she appeared in a play in fifth grade was in Helen Keller. The mumps that she contracted left her blind and deaf in the one ear. But she refused to let that to stop her from becoming an actress.
